How to care for your pearl jewellery

Remember to regularly wear your pearls as they will benefit from the natural oils in your skin.

Pearls should always be stored away from other jewellery that could scratch their surface.

Don't store pearls in an air tight container as they need moisture.

It is important to keep pearls away from chlorine, bleach, hairspray, perfume and cosmetics as these can damage the surface of the pearl.

Remember to remove pearl jewellery before exercising.

Gently wipe your pearls with a soft cloth after wearing.

Put your pearls on after you spray your hair spray or perfume.

Avoid soaking your pearls in water as this will effect the epoxy where used and will affect the security of the mounting.
